   COMMUNITY SERVICE

Community Service Mission Statement

Based on all that was desired to be accomplished, this year FBLA-Livingston  was determined to separate this year’s community service project into three sub-projects.

The first project was designed so that Livingston FBLA would help a local soup kitchen in feeding the homeless on a bi-monthly basis. The second involved a small group of committee members who would give up a few hours of their time to help around a local nursing home. The third, which entailed all aspects of the community, was a turkey drive. This project included the help of local supermarkets, churches, temples, and the faculty and student body of the high school. (See Below for Details and click here to see PHOTOS of Livingston-FBLA in action .)

FBLA is honored to help make a difference and we will continue to seek to improve the quality of life for those who are most in need. These projects have just begun to serve the needs of those most unfortunate in the community of Livingston and the “extended community” of neighboring towns. The time and effort Livingston FBLA has devoted to this year’s community service projects has been more than worthwhile.
