ACHIEVEMENT

Goal: Our members will show leadership and excellence in competition.

Objectives:

• Send competitors in a variety of events.
• Provide study materials and practice tests for each competitor.
• Have previous competitors in a particular event advise new competitors as to study topics and test strategies.
• Help to cover the cost of attending the State Leadership Conference for our members.
• Help to cover the cost of attending the National Leadership Conference if any of our members qualify.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT

Goal: Our chapter will gain awareness and support from the community.

Objectives:

• Sponsor community service activities.
• Place articles in the local newspaper about our meetings and activities.
• Place articles in the local newspaper about our members' awards and accomplishments.
• Build a web site to inform others of our goals and activities.

MEMBER AWARENESS

Goal: Our members will have active communication with the officers and the advisors.

Objectives:

• Elect officers
• Provide e-mail addresses for all officers.
• Provide opportunities for members for participate in decision-making.
• Hold meetings to keep members informed of upcoming events.
• At district and state conferences, make sure members are aware of contest locations and times.
